Brian Greber will speak on the implications of tax and spending policies, trade policy, and monetary policy for the near future. He will explain the direction the economy is headed and why we are in for a wild ride!



Brian Greber is an Adjunct Professor of Economics and Management in Boise State's MBA programs and a consultant who assists enterprises with economic analysis and strategic direction setting, change management, organizational development, marketing, and mart research. 


Brian has a B.S. in forestry and an M.S, in forest resource economics from West Virginia University and a Ph.D. in resource economics from Virginia Tech. He has 19 years of corporate experience in market and economic research, manufacturing management, product development, sales, marketing, technology development, strategic planning, and change management. In 2009, he retired as VP of Marketing & Technology at Weyerhaeuser Company (at the time, a Fortune 100 building products and home building firm). 


Brian has 20 years of university teaching, research, and public analysis experience. He was at West Virginia University, Virgina Tech, and Oregon State University prior to his work in the private sector. He has served as political advisor to state legislators, governors, US Congress, and Presidential administrations.
